Adam Weber, President
Adam is a Case Manager and Operations Administrator at a prominent national litigation firm. His duties include project and human resources management, legal and corporate research, and full-scale litigation support. Adam is a graduate of Colgate University and recieved his MBA from the University at Albany - SUNY. He has lived and worked in the City of Albany since 2006, and among many outside interests is a proud member of the Albany Curling Club, where he also serves in a governance role.
Eugene Farley, Treasurer
Gene is a Certified Public Accountant who holds a BA from Siena College and an MBA from Sage College. He worked for 30 years in the State Tax Department as both an auditor and accountant and has taught Accoutning and Tax Law at Siena for 4 years. He was the Director of Accounting in the Graduate program for 5 years and has been the chair of the Audit Committee NYS Pension fund since 2010. He has also been listed in Who's Who in America since 1989.
Anthony Moore, Secretary
Tony is an Appellate Court Attorney at the Supreme Court, Appellate Division - Third Department. A 2003 graduate of Boston College, Tony recieved his Juris Doctor from Albany Law School in 2008. He has lived and worked in Albany since 2006, where he presently resides with his wife and two beautiful children. Outside of work, Tony enjoys live music, cooking, and spending time skiing and enjoying the Adirondacks.
Sister Honora Kinney
Sister Honora is a member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Carondelet, is a Professor Emeritus of History at the College of Saint Rose and works part time in the college library. She has been active on social justice issues in the community for many years.
Courtney is a Senior Consultant for the Health System Transformation practice with New York State Technology Enterprise Corporation. Prior to this, she worked in higher education compliance at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and The Research Foundation of SUNY. She earned her Bachelors of Finance from Siena College and an MBA from Marist College. In her spare time, Courtney enjoys travelling, outdoor activities, and live music. She resides in Delmar, New York.
John is a lifelong resident of Albany County. He has spent over a decade in government relations and currently serves as Executive Director for Internet Association, a Washington DC-based trade group which represents the interests of the world's leading internet companies here in New York. Prior to this, he was a lobbyist and consultant for the firm of Featherstonhaugh, Wiley & Clyne, LLP. He is a graduate of Oneonta State College. When he is not protecting the Internet, John enjoys golf, travelling to new locales with his wife, Courtney, and attending as many concerts as time will allow. He currently resides in Delmar, New York.
Katie is a Visiting Professor of Political Science at Skidmore College. She teaches classes in American politics including Civil Rights and Liberties, Consitutional Law, and The Politics of Gay Rights. Before earning her doctorate from the University at Albany, she worked as a Senior Research Assistant at the Nelson A. Rockefeller Intitute of Government. When she is not at work, Katie enjoys running, getting together with friends, or unwinding with a good book.
Donna DeMaria - Executive Director
Donna founded HAC in 1989. She completed her undergraduate degree in Social Sciences from The College of St. Rose. During her college years she became active on peace and social justice issues and decided to become a full time activist after graduating. She lived in voluntary poverty for 12-15 years and has been a supporter of the homeless community for over 30 years.
