HAC's programs have helped numerous people to improve their lives.

HAC's tenants speak for themselves:

Earl (name changed) has lived in HAC's housing since it opened in 1999 and had 235 days sober in 2000, and 337 days sober in 2001 states, "I love it here.  I used to sleep in abandoned buildings and cars and eat out of garbage dumpsters.  I've been sober here awhile.  I have the chance to clear my head up, the opportunity to think about more positive things."

Charlie (name changed) states, "This place is heaven sent for me.  If it wasn't for this place, I'd probably be dead out on the street.  This place keeps a lot of people sober.  I have reunited with my family and couldn't have without this home."
